In 1939 Mr. Armstrong addressed organization and government in the Church. Much of what he wrote has a bearing on government in the church today. Family style governance flows from God's marriage to Israel at Mt. Sinai. Reinforced by the church being equated to the role of a wife which Christ marries under a new covenant contract. The Elohim family is the basis of organization and government in the Church.
